ball, chain, kick the dead pen
blackness on the field, inhalers rush in
all the trippy yuppies expand in the lights
looping in their corners like truly whatever
met the ex-ravers at the mega-church
they improvise life
no reception in here
i changed my mind
by clearing the room
yesterday, it was tomorrow again
you were on the cover, dripping, it's nothing
i dont understand their numbers
the colors dont change
when the light doesnt live on the lane
It's a math rock classic for a reason. Zach Hill's drumming is always interesting no matter how many times I relisten to this thing, and Spencer Seim delivers guitar parts that are as insane as they are catchy! honeycombguy
Brutal, battering industrial music from this Austin, TX, group rolls in like a thundercloud—pitch-black and threatening. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 8, 2016
Hella's a great band when it's just Zach and Spencer, but expanding to a five piece wasn't a bad move in the slightest. The vocals here may be very weird, but they honestly fit pretty well. Very underrated record. honeycombguy
